The PTM allows users to deactivate or activate an automatic door operator for a room where privacy is a concern, such as a restroom or clean room. From the outside, users are able to activate the door. When inside, users can lock the door, which prevents access from the outside “push to open” button. When the user want to leave the room, they press an inside “push to open” button which deactivates the lock and opens the door. A key switch override is incorporated into the outside button and there are LEDs to indicate if the room is occupied. This is the control module only.
